Directions
From Calgary
Travel west on Highway 1 to exit 169 (Calaway Park exit). Turn left at the next two stop signs (second stop sign is by the small church on the corner of Range Road 33 and Township Road 250). Travel west on Township Road 250 to the airport. Turn right on MacLaurin Drive towards the control tower (north). We are in hangar 152, halfway down on the right, just opposite Mount Royal University hangar.
If you go too far west on Highway 1 take exit 161 toward Cochrane. One block north on Highway 22 will be the airport exit – Township Road 250. Turn right (east) and look for the airport control tower – we’re 5 minutes away.
From Airdrie/Cochrane
Travel west on Big Hill Springs Road from Airdrie (turns into Highway 567 west of Symons Valley Road) to Highway 22. Turn left and travel south through Cochrane on Highway 22 to Township Road 250 (marked with Airport sign). Turn left and Springbank airport is 5 minutes east. If you go too far south on Highway 22 – take the Highway 1 (east) Calgary exit to Calaway Park (exit 169). Travel north (left) one block after exiting to Township Road 250. Same directions as first paragraph from Calgary.
From Canmore/Banff
Take Highway 1 east and exit north at the Petro Canada (exit 161) onto Highway 22 north. One city block north is Township Road 250 (marked with an airport sign). Turn right (east), we’re 5 minutes down the road. If you hit Cochrane – you’ve gone too far north on Highway 22 – turn around!
